Women’s Own Adventure provides small group adventure tours for women wishing to travel off-the-beaten track with other solo female travellers. The company is launching a new tour to emerging European destinations Macedonia and Albania, with a strong emphasis on wildlife and conservation.
Departing 26 August 2017, the 12-day tour begins and ends in the Macedonian capital Skopje. Guests will walk the cobblestone streets of UNESCO World Heritage-listed towns, learn to cook traditional dishes, bathe in hot springs and visit ancient churches. They’ll also walk through the countryside meeting local farmers, explore gorgeous villages and hike with national park rangers in Pelister National Park.
Accommodation will be in family-owned hotels and guesthouses, with meals in medieval restaurants and family homes.
