Taking place across a number of stunning locations, Noosa Food & Wine 2016 is happening 20 – 22 May and the official program is out now.
Showcasing some of Noosa’s very own restaurants, along with more than 20 wineries, Noosa Food & Wine invites you to discover exciting new flavours, dishes, Australian wines, artisan foods and some of the country’s top culinary talent.
With more than 30 events and nearly 50 chefs from around Australia, there is something to satisfy all tastes, and the program is your go to guide for experiencing a number of beachfront events, celebrity lunches and dinners, a food trail, and various lifestyle events.

Noosa Food & Wine 2016 opening cocktail party – Join acclaimed chefs Pete Evans, Shane Bailey, Ben Bertei and others, for cocktails and canapés under the Noosa Tipi on Noosa Main Beach and celebrate the start to a wonderful weekend of food, wine and lifestyle.
The Paleo Way with Pete Evans – This healthy way of living has taken the world by storm and celebrity Chef and author Pete Evans will answer everything you’ve ever wanted to know about it. You’ll also receive Pete’s ten-week activation program, included in the ticket price.
Noosa Street Feast Long Lunch on Hastings Street – Some of Noosa’s best restaurants will come together in this two-course long lunch, perfectly paired with local wines and beer by Asahi. Participating restaurants include Boardwalk Bistro on Hastings, Miss Moneypenny’s, and Noosa Beach House.
Wine Masterclass by Treasury Wines Estate – Experience the diversity of Australia’s premier wine regions and discover hidden wine gems with our expert wine panel in a not-to-be-missed tutored tasting, focusing on two varieties, Shiraz and Chardonnay.
Surfers versus Chefs Breakfast, presented by Taste.com.au – Join us for breakfast and free Pilates, and watch celebrity chefs go head to head with surfing royalty as they take to the waves in a fun and friendly charity competition in support of SurfAid.
‘You’re Better on Beef’ BBQ by the River – A fantastic day of food, beer, wine and music, this riverside event, presented by Noosa Boathouse, celebrates Australian beef. Celebrity chefs such as Sammy and Bella from MKR will serve up their favourite sirloin dishes to a soundtrack of live music from legendary Sunshine Coast musician Carl Wockner, and powerhouse band Honey.
Full Moon Asian Flavours Farewell Party – Dine under a full moon on the beach for the finale of Noosa Food & Wine 2016, with an Asian Hawker style feast presented by Ben Bertei, Hajime Horiguchi and Hamish Ingham, with local culinary talent from Embassy XO, Spirit House and Junk.
