Marriott International has announced the opening of Westin Perth within a buzzing and connected city location.
Designed to impress, the hotel aims to set a new standard of refined sophistication in Perth with its 368 guest rooms, including ten Club Suites, eight Westin Suites, five Executive Suites and one Presidential Suite.
“We are delighted to open the doors to this world-class property,” The Westin Perth general manager Peter Brampton said.
“The Westin brand is synonymous with well-being and we believe the property will deliver a unique hospitality offering to the West Australian hotel market.”
This is the first of four new Westin properties opening in Australia over the coming years, including sites in Brisbane, Darwin and Coolum.
The Westin Perth’s contemporary interiors are designed by Melbourne-based, boutique design firm BAR Studio.
Throughout the hotel, there’s an evocative sense of place, with the design taking its cue from the light and landscape of Western Australia, as well as the alfresco Perth lifestyle.
Every guest will enjoy the generously sized guest rooms, ranging from the 42-square-metre Deluxe Room to the 240-square-metre Presidential Suite.
All rooms feature striking artwork and photography showcasing unique West Australian landscapes.
Westin Perth’s signature restaurant, Garum, is acclaimed chef Guy Grossi’s first venture outside of Victoria.
One of Australia’s most respected chefs, and an author of five cookbooks and a passionate fan of WA produce and wines, Grossi offers guests a contemporary Roman dining experience in the stunning heritage-listed Hibernian Hall, a Perth landmark.
There is also a 24/7 access and state-of-the-art ‘Technogym’, featuring equipment in the WestinWORKOUTTM Fitness Studio, or for those who prefer exercising outdoors they can take part in RunWESTINTM.
Westin Weekend packages allow guests to stay longer with extended breakfast hours and a late Sunday checkout, and guests with families need not worry about what their children will be eating with the Westin Eat Well Menu for Kids.
The hotel is located in the revitalised East End quarter of Perth CBD, known as the ‘Historic Heart’ of the city.
Nearby highlights include running and cycling tracks around the Swan River, Kings Park, the Perth Central Business District and Northbridge nightlife and entertainment districts.
