Brisbane is set to welcome its first five-star hotel to open in the city in twenty years, with the opening of W Brisbane on 1 June 2018.
The highly anticipated occasion will also mark the re-entry of the iconic W Hotels brand, part of Marriott International, into Australia.
Located at 81 North Quay, W Brisbane will light up the Brisbane River foreshore, shaking up the Queensland capital with its bold design and playful luxury as it becomes a destination within itself.
Affording expansive views across the Brisbane River to South Bank and Mount Cooth-tha, the luxury hotel will offer 312 stylish guestrooms, including 29 suites, two ‘Wow Suites’ and the ‘Extreme Wow Suite’, the W brand’s modern take on a Presidential Suite.
Signature comforts will enhance the guestroom experience, including the plush W bathrobe, Bliss amenities, W Mixbar, the famed W bed, and state-of-the-art technology including Bowers & Wilkins Bluetooth speakers, and 55-inch LED TVs. Complimentary WiFi ensures guests are always connected.
Three dynamic bars and restaurants will create a thriving local scene. A Queensland first, Australia’s much loved culinary crew, Three Blue Ducks will launch Three Blue Ducks Brisbane, W Brisbane’s Signature Restaurant, offering their legendary paddock-to-plate cuisine, showcasing the local flavours of QLD and NSW through an evolving seasonal menu.
