Vomo Island Resort, Fiji, reopening September

VOMO Rocks Restaurant

After undertaking significant upgrades and repairs in the aftermath of Tropical Cyclone Winston in February this year, Fiji’s Vomo Island Resort will re-open on 1 September.

For the past seven months, teams of tradesmen have worked hard at Vomo, repairing and changing roofing, joinery, air conditioning, the main kitchen, and landscaping, as well as a makeover of its reception area.

Vomo Island Resort general manager, Mark Leslie comments: “Although we were hit hard by the cyclone, it gave us the opportunity to make some subtle changes to continue to give Vomo the opulent ‘edge’”.

A landscaping specialist has revitalised the gardens with fresh new plants, as well as native species, adding vibrancy to the grounds and attracting new species of birds not seen on Vomo before.

The island will also unveil two luxurious new beachfront homes—The BeacHouse and The Palms—available for nightly or weekly rental. From their enviable absolute beachfront locations, these contemporary three- and four-bedroom private residences will each feature their own swimming pool, entertainment and media facilities, and offer exclusive villa concierge services.

Special opening rates and privileges such as bonus Resort Credit and complimentary extra nights are now available, for more information visit vomofiji.com
