The 24K gold hotel Vietnam has kept hidden, until now

Even from afar, Dolce by Wyndham Hanoi Golden Lake shines as bright as gold. That’s because it is. This Vietnam gold hotel has the whole world in awe.

The first self-proclaimed gold-plated hotel in the world, Dolce opened its doors in 2020. It contains about one tonne of gold.

Thanks to the pandemic, the Dolce by Wydnham is yet to receive hordes of international visitors or Instagrammers.

But they will come.

“At the moment, there is no other hotel like this in the world,” Nguyen Huu Duong, chairman of Hoa Binh Group, who own the Vietnam gold hotel said.

The ins and outs of the Vietnam gold hotel

No taxi driver will miss this hotel. The outside walls are covered in glittering gold cladding.

Red carpet leads guests up the stairs to massive, gold-coated doors. Once you enter the lobby, you may need to pop your sunglasses on.

The rooftop golden infinity pool offers spectacular views over Hanoi.

Take a dip as light refracts off the bottom of the pool, catching on the 24-karat gold tiles.
