Christmas Day feasts

Christmas Day doesn’t get much grander than at Feast, the hotel’s award-winning, signature restaurant. Having already become a popular tradition for many families, this year’s Christmas Day lunch will be expanded across the first-floor restaurant as well as the Grand Ballroom and the entire second floor.

On the menu, the famous seafood buffet will make a return along with traditional roast turkey, honey glazed ham and bush marinated lamb with extra Asian dishes and Western favourites also in the mix. For dessert, all the Christmas classics will be on offer including pudding, mince pies, panettone and pavlova as well as a few extra sweet treats to cater to everyone’s tastes.

Expect decadent decorations, live music, a visit from Santa for the kids, and plenty of cheer in the room. Alternatively for those who prefer to stay at home, the Sheraton Grand Sydney is also offering a take-away service in December. Gourmet roast turkey or honey and star anise glazed ham can be expertly prepared by one of the hotel’s chefs, with just 48 hours’ notice.

The Grand Sunday Brunch

It’s no secret that Aussie’s love a good Sunday brunch and the Sheraton Grand’s new brunch concept certainly does not disappoint. Starting in The Conservatory Bar, guests will be able to choose between an Aperol spritz or Bloody Mary on arrival before enjoying canapés and a lavish grazing table.

However, keep your appetite because you’ll then move on to the hotel’s Feast restaurant for, quite literally, a feast. Enjoy a glass of bubbles as you indulge in an impressive selection of seafood, including fresh crab, lobsters, oysters and prawns; to sushi and sashimi, antipasti, assorted cold cuts, and Australian cheeses. Live cooking stations will also be set up along with an endless selection of mouth-watering desserts – if you can fit them in, that is.

The Grand Sunday Brunch runs from 11:30am Sundays and costs $195 per person. Bookings are made at
