Discover exceptional design and meticulous indulgence with a stay in The Tasman’s newest suites.
Hobart’s most unique hotel – The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel – has unveiled its highly-anticipated collection of new suites.
With a focus on designs that layer history with modern luxury, these freshly-minted abodes showcase the hotel’s captivating architectural narrative.

Suite life at The Tasman
The Tasman’s greatest feat is its dedication to preserving the soul of the heritage buildings it inhabits, all while keeping a strong grasp on modern design and comfort.
Each suite offers a new perspective of Hobart – both its history and skyline – and a deep-dive into different eras of architecture.
The new St. David’s Park Suite features a soaring original 1840s ceiling and fireplace for a heritage-inspired stay. With elements crafted from Baltic Pine originally used as ballast for the first tall ships arriving into Hobart, this suite oozes character.
Meanwhile, the Pavilion Suites offer expansive views across Hobart’s historic waterfront to the River Derwent. The interior of these corner suites mirror their maritime environment with subtle blues and greys complemented by original artworks.

Sitting pretty on the rooftop, the Aurora Suite is the pinnacle of luxury at The Tasman. Replete with a private terrace and island bath, this expansive 108-square-metre abode offers some of the best views of Hobart’s glittering waterfront and skyline.
Each room and suite also includes fine Italian linens from Frette and an impressive locally-curated amenity and minibar collection. The selection includes Australian brands like Beauty and the Bees and Grown Alchemist, as well as Lark Distillery’s Docks Release single malt, crafted exclusively for The Tasman.
The St. David’s Park Suite, Aurora Suite and the Pavillion Suites are available to book now.
