The House lounges now open to all travellers

The House lounges in Sydney and Melbourne airports are now open to all international travellers, regardless of which airline they’re flying on or which class of ticket they hold. The announcement was made by No1 Lounges, the operator behind the lounges.

Previous to the announcement, The House lounges were only available to passengers flying Etihad Airways or Virgin Australia. Now anyone can access them for a fee of $80 per person. This grants travellers access for up to three hours before departure, with the option to buy more hours either online in advance or upon arrival at the lounge.

The House lounges offer first-class comfort with features including a wide choice of seating areas, unrivalled airport views, showers, unlimited Wi-Fi, televisions, newspapers, glossy magazines and charging points. Dining options are premium, with a la carte menus, a fully tended bar and barista coffees all on offer.

At Sydney airport, The House is found in Terminal 1. It spans 8,000 square feet and offers 120 seats.

At Melbourne airport, The House is found in Terminal 2 and offers 140 seats.

No1 Lounge’s Founder Phil Cameron said:

“Australia is one of the world’s great travel destinations, and both Sydney and Melbourne Airports are two of the very best international gateways. I am delighted we are able to offer a premium international departure to everyone.

“Whether travelling for a special occasion, holiday or work, we look forward to welcoming all passengers into our beautifully designed lounges.”
