Famous Hollywood-hangout, The Beverly Hills Hotel has been playing up its cinematic connections in the renovations of its bungalows. 21 of the hotel’s bungalows have been redesigned and have been undergoing extensive restorations over the last two years. Five of them will feature some very special design touches in homage to the notable guests that have stayed in them over the years.
The hotel has recently unveiled the new Marilyn Monroe bungalow (Bungalow 1), as well as the Howard Hughes bungalow (Bungalow 3). These join Elizabeth Taylor (Bungalow 5) and Frank Sinatra (Bungalow 22), which were launched in 2016.
The new Marilyn Monroe bungalow offers a reflection on some of the more glamorous and playful elements of her most celebrated movie roles. Think curvy furniture, bright and abstract floor coverings, colourful travertine stones and gold-leafed ceilings.
As well as the Marilyn Monroe-inspired design, Bungalow 1 will also offer guests themed amenities and services such as:
- Chanel No. 5 fragrance bar
- Chanel No. 5 bath amenities
- Library featuring classic Marilyn Monroe films and books
- Marilyn Monroe Champagne Bubble Bath Experience
- Marilyn’s Menu
The last of the celebrity themed bungalows will debut in July 2019, and will feature a design inspired by the great Charlie Chaplin.
Prices for Bungalow 1 start from USD$8,500/night
