ALL HANDS BREWING HOUSE, KING STREET WHARF
All Hands Brewing House is the latest microbrewery and public house to open its doors in Sydney. Scottish-born executive chef Graeme McLaughlin’s menu focuses on Southern-style comfort food and fresh seafood.
The genius of Bhoomi, a contemporary Indian restaurant in Glebe, is that it gives us almost everything we love about the Jewel of the Bay and The Spice Room and then some. Head chef Chanaka Nalin Gunasekarage has worked with Michelin-starred and hatted chefs and was most recently at the helm of Subcontinental by Longrain. Gunasekarage’s signature dishes include palak paneer gnocchi, dal Chawai arancini with pickled mayo and lamb shanks with kchicharee risotto. facebook.com/bhoomirestaurantglebe

MISTER PERCY AT OVOLO HOTEL, PYRMONT
This brand-new wine bar and kitchen opened its doors in Pyrmont, giving the entire neighbourhood something to smile about. Look around the concrete-floor dining room and glance at the decor and you will recognise the design handiwork of Luchetti Krelle. This dressy dining room is named after Mister Percy Ewart, a wool classer at the original wool store warehouse where the wine bar now sits. While Ewart’s name is etched into the sandstone building, the initials of executive chef Justin North and head chef Luca Guiotto are not. ovolohotels.com.au
