The new Spa at Mandarin Oriental, London will be unveiled in May, as part of the final renovation phase at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park.
Overseen by renowned international designer, Adam D. Tihany, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental takes inspiration from traditional Chinese fashion and symbolism. It is a contemporary environment that reflects the attention to detail and harmony of elements found in Chinese philosophy.
The Spa’s fourteen treatment rooms include a new spacious Oriental Suite featuring two massage beds and a Rasul water temple that combines the health enhancing properties of heat, steam and mud for additional skin conditioning.
Guests will be able to experience a tailor-made combination of Mandarin Oriental’s own signature therapies, together with treatments and journeys for the face and body using Mandarin Oriental’s signature oils, Aromatherapy Associates, Sodashi and Linda Meredith products.
Additional offerings include a room for traditional ASANTE Chinese Medicine consultations and treatments, a Bastien Gonzalez Pedi:Mani:Cure Studio, and a soothing hair therapy treatment by Philip Kingsley.
Visitors will be encouraged to arrive 45 minutes before their appointment time to take time to relax and enjoy the extensive spa facilities, which include the Amethyst Crystal Steam Room, Sanarium, Vitality Pool and the Zen Colour Therapy Relaxation Area.
Meanwhile, the Fitness Centre will continue to feature some of the best state-of-the-art workout equipment and a 17-metre stainless steel, heated pool.
Award-winning trainer and founder of London’s successful PilatesPT studio, Hollie Grant, has set up residence within the hotel and is offering Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park guests a menu of holistic programs, including nutritional and lifestyle guidance, at the hotel’s new PilatesPT studio.
