The contemporary creative three-day event Singapore: Inside Out Sydney brings Singapore’s artists to the streets of Sydney in an innovative mash-up of multi-disciplinary work and cross-national collaborations from visual arts, music and fashion to design and film.
The event will take place within the vibrant Chippendale precinct this 3 – 5 November when Singapore will take over Kensington Street with art installations, video projections, food and mixology presentations, dance performances, music concerts, and more.
Visitors can expect a journey of discovery with the visually-stunning works of artist Donna Ong and sculptor and performance artist Ezzam Rahman. Film and photography enthusiasts will not want to miss out on video showcases by Sundance award-winning film director Kirsten Tan and PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris Gold award winner Sarah Choo.
The audiovisual collective Syndicate will inspire and entertain passers-by along the Kensington Street while they savour inventive bites by chef Malcolm Lee of the world’s only Peranakan Michelin-starred restaurant Candlenut, or enjoy a drink by top mixologist Peter Chua.
Expect all your senses to be challenged by this international artisan collaboration that shines the spotlight on Singapore’s emerging and growing presence on the global creative stage.
