Singapore Airlines has confirmed it will operate its daily Melbourne to Singapore service on the all new Airbus A350-900 from 11 May 2017, offering travellers from Melbourne increased Premium Economy options.
Three of the four daily SQ208 flights from Melbourne now offer the new Premium Economy cabin, which features 24 seats. In addition, the 253-seat Airbus A350 is fitted with 42 seats in Business Class and 187 Economy Class seats.
Travellers who fly on the A350 will also be able to take advantage of Singapore Airlines’ new companion app, found within the SingaporeAir phone and tablet app, enabling them to review the IFE video and audio content that will be available on their flight, create pre-selected favourites lists, and control the seat-back IFE system – all through their personal devices.
Singapore Airlines’ KrisWorld IFE system offers up to 295 movies, over 470 TV programmes and more than 450 CD albums each month.
