Silversea Cruises’ newest ship Silver Muse will circumnavigate South America on two exclusive roundtrip Grand Voyages, offering a range of unique and memorable experiences in one of the world’s most exciting regions.
Departing Fort Lauderdale on 13 October 2017 for a 66-day voyage and 3 January 2018 for 69 days, the Grand Voyages itineraries will offer a variety of immersive adventures and cultural experiences.
“Silversea is renowned for offering truly unique and memorable experiences and our South American Grand Voyages showcase the spectacular assortment of landscapes of South America, including the steaming humidity of the Amazon, the bone-dry Atacama Desert and the glacial peaks of the Andes,” Silversea Cruises managing director Asia Pacific Amber Wilson says.
“Guests can encounter a kaleidoscope of cultural adventures and a range of extremes, including the world’s highest waterfall, the longest mountain range, the driest desert and the largest rainforest.”
Other highlights include: flightseeing over the famous Nazca Lines; zip-lining through a rainforest canopy in Costa Rica; wildlife spotting on overnights in Manaus, Brazil; sailing through the Chilean Fjords; crossing the Panama Canal; partying at Rio de Janeiro’s world famous Carnival on a three-day stopover; and learning about the ancient Incas of Peru.
As the newest flagship vessel of the Silversea fleet, Silver Muse is beautifully appointed with luxurious interiors and modern amenities. With all-suite accommodation complete with butler service, eight signature restaurants, fine dining inspired by Relais & Chateaux and complimentary champagne, wines and spirits, guests can expect nothing but the highest level of service and comfort on-board.
