The countdown is on as Silversea Cruises gets ready to launch its highly anticipated new cruise ship, Silver Muse, in one year’s time.
Due for completion in April 2017, Silver Muse will call at 34 countries and more than 130 ports in 2017 alone. Her inaugural itinerary will feature an astounding 52 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, showcasing a range of world-class locations from ancient Greek temples through to historic Caribbean fortresses.
Launching from Monte Carlo, the ship will cruise the Mediterranean during the spring and summer months, visiting renowned UNESCO sites such as Cinque Terre in Liguria, the Historic Centre of Rome, the Archaeological Site of Olympia, and the Tower of Belém in Lisbon.
Making her first transatlantic crossing, Silver Sea will venture to North America, visting the region’s historic icons, such as the Statue of Liberty in New York City and the historic district of Old Québec in Canada, before making her way through the famous Panama Canal, before reaching South America. Here, more World Heritage Sites in Valparaiso and Rio de Janeiro await.
In addition to a stellar inaugural itinerary, Silver Muse will offer premium comfort and luxury sailing, with spacious all-suite accommodations, eight exclusive restaurants, and innovative interior and exterior public areas.
