The Silo Hotel, one of the most eagerly anticipated hotel openings in the world, swung its stylish doors open on 1 March, 2017.
Part of the Royal Portfolio, the hotel was built in the grain elevator of a historic grain silo complex in the centre of Cape Town, above what will become the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa, opening in September 2017.
The hotel has 28 rooms, including a spectacular one-bedroom penthouse. Each room is individually designed with colourful and eclectic pieces carefully selected to juxtapose the building’s modern, industrial architecture.
An ideal base from which to explore all that Cape Town has to offer, guests can relax at the spa, enjoy afternoon tea overlooking Table Mountain, quaff champagne on the roof, swim in the glass pool or enjoy a private tour of the museum once it opens.
