The majority of Fiji’s resorts have reopened after Tropical Cyclone Winston smashed its way through the islands in February, with many raising money for the numerous villages in the north that suffered devastating damage to infrastructure, homes and schools. With the local people relying on tourism, Fiji Tourism and Fiji Airways are urging visitors to add a Fiji vacation to their calendars, booking in a break in the Fiji sunshine as Australia heads into the winter chill.
InterContinental Natadola Golf Resort & Spa, The Naviti, The Sofitel Fiji Resort, Yasawa Island Resort & Spa, The Radisson Blu Resort Fiji Denarau Island, and Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort & Spa are all open, as are Malolo Island Resort, Likuliku Lagoon Resort, Hilton Fiji Beach Resort, Royal Davui, and Qamea Resort & Spa. Vomo Island Resort is undergoing repairs and will be back bigger and better than ever in June.
