Rooftop at QT is opening its doors ushering in a new era for QT Melbourne’s iconic rooftop.
Heading for higher ground, Melbourne’s esteemed locale is home to bold, unique cocktails and savours food of the Mediterranean. The reimagined rooftop includes intimate alcoves featuring private booths, a private lounge, and an outdoor bar, blended with modern design and bespoke art.
Stepping out to cityscape surroundings, guests will see eye-to-eye with Melbourne’s iconic skyline. A vista to unravel the senses, QT Melbourne welcomes the city’s denizens and taste-makers from first glance to last dance for the ultimate sky-high seduction.

From lunchtime libations to sunset grazing
Rooftop at QT’s F&B program by award-winning Food & Beverage Director Chris Stock leads the charge with cocktails driven by celebration. The food menu will boast snacks to generous share plates expertly curated by recently appointed Executive Chef Nic Wood. Signature dishes include Snapper Cannoli with BBQ jalapeno, preserved lemon and crème fraiche; Fried Mortadella Sando with provolone, BBQ sauce and pepperoncini; Lobster Cocktail with Southern Rock lobster, cognac-horseradish Marie Rose, endive, salmon pearls, and a delectable Ice Cream Sandwich with shortbread and lemon-mascarpone ice cream.
Designed for atmosphere
Long-time QT collaborator and award-winning designer Nic Graham is at the helm of the interior elevation of Rooftop at QT, revitalising the space. Newly introduced booth seating allows for intimate group gatherings while embracing the buzz of the open venue. For those after something a little more hush-hush, there is the private lounge for up to 40 revellers.

Bringing Melbourne’s art culture to life
Local artist Dwayne Hutton’s captivating art and hand-painted bespoke wallpaper cascades across the ceiling and further evolve digitally throughout the space. Dwayne has drawn on the electric atmosphere of Rooftop at QT, with music as his muse and the rooftop playlist as rhythmic inspiration to evoke moody, textured, and dynamic creations.
The venue boasts contemporary furniture, updated upholstery, and modern lighting – repurposing original pieces and giving them a second life as part of the QT’s overall sustainability goals.
QT Melbourne’s General Manager, Kristen Foat, shares, “The inspiration behind Rooftop at QT’s transformation lies in embracing the allure of rooftop culture, providing a venue for private moments and lively parties with friends you haven’t met yet.”
Shimmy in day or night and raise a glass to any moment you like. It’s time to rise and shine.
