The Dorchester Collection’s iconic five-star Rome property Hotel Eden has reopened, unveiling its highly anticipated new look following an extensive 18-month restoration.
Taking special care in preserving the spirit of the property, world-renowned architects and interior designers oversaw the project, which included the refurbishment of 98 guestrooms and suites, and meeting rooms, and the creation of a dynamic new food and beverage concept, and the hotel’s first urban spa.
Formerly offering 121 rooms, the luxury hotel’s reduced capacity ensures more expansive spaces for guests to relax. The redesign of the lobby, rooms, suites and meeting rooms features high ceilings and tall windows, accentuating natural light and enhancing spaciousness, while the hotel’s Bellavista Penthouse Suite, offers unrivalled views of Rome with floor-to-ceiling windows which can be fully opened.
Eden Spa is an entirely new addition to the hotel which features three suites, a blow-dry bar, and manicure and pedicure suite, and offers guests a range of holistic and wellness experiences.
Award-winning executive chef Fabio Ciervo is at the helm of Hotel Eden’s food and beverage offering, which includes fine-dining restaurant La Terrazza, affording spectacular city views across Rome from its top floor location, alongside an innovative and seasonal Mediterranean menu.
An all-day dining menu of light, healthy choices alongside a selection of pasta, pizza and chicchetti can be enjoyed at Il Giardino Ristorante & Bar, while La Libreria plays hosts to a ‘secret bar’ providing classic and innovative cocktails.
Located in the heart of the ‘Eternal City’ of Rome, Hotel Eden is within a short walking distance to major attractions such as the legendary Spanish Steps and beautiful Villa Borghese.
Guests are promised an authentic Roman experience, enhanced by panoramic views across the city and top-notch service provided by the same dedicated team of staff that ran the hotel prior to its temporary closure in 2015.
