It’s a sweet-as opportunity.

Treat yourself
The decadent cottage was designed and manufactured by chocolatier Jean-Luc Decluzeau who used one and a half tonnes of chocolate to mould his bean-to-abode structure. Decluzeau is renowned for his decadent detailed chocolate sculptures and has gone all out with the boutique cottage, designed to accommodate up to four guests. Chocolate treats will also be squirrelled away around the house for lucky guests to discover.

Edible interiors
Everything from the walls to the ceiling and roof has been crafted from chocolate as well as the internal fireplace, dresser, clock, cups, books and a chandelier. Reminiscent of Willy Wonka’s factory, the duck pond and flowerbed are also made entirely out of solid chocolate.

Home, sweet home for a night
The sweet cottage is located in the glass house L’Orangerie Ephémère in the gardens of the Cité de la Céramique, the national ceramic museum in Sèvres, France. There are only a few nights available for booking, which means that only a select few chocolate fiends will be able to live out their fairytale fantasies and nibble the night away. Guests can also join a chocolate workshop and construct mini chocolate chalets with the pastrymaker behind the cottage.
