Wine Island is set to return to Sydney from November 2 to 4 for its fourth consecutive year. The annual food and wine festival takes place on Clark Island, which will be transformed into an indulgent haven for lovers of good food and wine for the event.
Drop anchor in Sydney Harbour
With Sydney Harbour as the postcard-picturesque backdrop, the island festival is proving popular with picnickers who order a bottle of wine paired with a cheese and oyster platter to enjoy under a shady tree or umbrella. This year, Wine Island will showcase boutique Australian and International wine, with stalls dotted across the island.
Bubbles, beer, and harbour backdrop
Those in attendance will be able to sip on a glass of bubbles on their way over to the food and wine festival of the year, preparing them to participate in wine-related events such as the iconic silent disco.
Head pastry chef Ashely Smith will also be serving up decadent sweets on Desert Island, and Roads Brewing Co. Beer Garden will set up camp with its award-winning ales from Freo in WA. There will also be a Gin Bar by Archie Rose and a Pimms Garden Bar. Juicy burgers, loaded fries, Mediterranean pittas, and fluffy bao buns will be served up by Chur Burger Food Truck.
Wining and dining
It doesn’t get much better than wining and dining while taking in pristine views of sprawling Sydney Harbour. Tickets start at $99 and go upwards for the 7-star and 10-star experiences.
