Qatar Airways' revolutionary QSuite

Award winning airline Qatar Airways has unveiled its highly anticipated new Business Class experience, revolutionising the standard in travel with customisable private suites and a host of firsts to Premium Class travel.

After two years in the making, the all-new QSuite features the world’s first-ever double bed available in Business Class, with privacy panels that stow away, allowing passengers in adjoining seats to create their own private room, while adjustable panels and movable TV monitors on the centre four seats allow those travelling together to transform their space into a private suite, in which they can work, dine and socialise together.

Offering travellers the ultimate customisable travel experience, these new and improved features enable passengers to have more privacy, choice and customisation, in creating an environment that suits their own unique needs.

“With these innovations, Qatar Airways has revolutionised the way we serve our Business Class travellers, enabling our passengers to enjoy a First Class experience in Business Class – this is truly Business Class as never seen before and is entirely in keeping with our Premium product and service philosophy,” Qatar Airways group chief executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker said.

Crafted with luxurious details such as hand-stitched Italian leather and satin rose gold finishing, each seat brings an unprecedented level of luxury and style to the airline’s Business Class offering, with added luxury touches all throughout the flight such as elegant new chinaware and cutlery, plush bed linens, exclusive pyjama sets and beautiful amenity kits featuring luxury Italian products.

Moreover, to further enhance the customisable on-board experience, Qatar Airways is also introducing a new food and beverage concept with a menu that offers a range of new dining choices, including a selection of snack ‘sharing dishes’ available throughout the flight, in addition to the existing ‘dine on demand’ service. A wake-up Express Breakfast will also be available for those who wish to sleep in a little longer with the ‘Do Not Disturb’ option available on the door of their private QSuite.

The airline has also launched a completely new next-generation user interface of its award-winning inflight entertainment system, Oryx One, making it even easier to surf content and choose from up to 3,000 entertainment options, offering the most of any other airline.

“You choose when you dine with varied menu options, you choose when you rest, and when you want entertainment; we offer more choices than any other airline and so it only makes sense to give you the choice to make your own cabin-within-a-cabin, creating double QSuites or quadrants.”

The new QSuite concept will roll out onto the existing Qatar Airways fleet starting from June 2017, with the ground-breaking refresh in time for the airline’s 20th anniversary.
