This stunning 142-hectare property, which includes a private forest, comes with three spacious suites, and a family bunk room, a media theatre, kitchen and four indoor or outdoor dining areas. Arrive by helicopter (it features it own helipad terrace) to immerse in the amenities: including a gym, games den, outdoor fire pit, swimming pool, heated spa pool and outdoor hot tub.

The Great Room, a sumptuous space featuring a stone fireplace, sunken bar and a soaring five-metre ceiling, is ideal for performance. Designed by the villa owners who are musicians and recording artists, the space has a grand piano and guitars for guests to tinkle to create the next number one hit.

Private Executive Chef Michael McMeeken is on hand to create garden-to-table cuisine. Tuck into a sumptuous four-course dinner full of seasonal produce from the property’s vegetable gardens and beehive. The suite life

Where to find Falcon Brae, New Zealand

Daily flights to Nelson depart from the international airports of Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland. Then a 50-minute road transfer to the private villa from Nelson Airport. Or if you’re seeking a more adventurous option, embark on a helicopter transfer.
