Princess Diana: Accredited Access Exhibition has arrived in Australia

Princess Diana: Accredited Access Exhibition is coming to Melbourne on 17 November 2023.

Following sold-out tours in Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, and Puerto Rico, it’s now Melbourne’s turn to enjoy a captivating journey through Princess Diana’s life. From her introduction to and reinvention of Royal life in The Tea House, Southbank, in Melbourne.

Take a never-before-seen look into the life and legacy of Princess Diana in an exhibition that shares her most famous moments through the lens of her Official Royal Photographer.

Princess Diana: Accredited Access Exhibition showcases the journey of the beloved Princess as told through the lens of Anwar Hussein. It looks at the personal relationship between the princess and photographer uncovering all sides of Diana.

A captivating exploration of Princess Diana’s life

Visitors will embark on a captivating exploration through various themed sections: The Photography Dark Room, Growing, Glam, Hats & Tiaras, Art Installations, Humanitarian and Unguarded. The exhibit documents her life with intimate, first-hand narration and authentic, original images. The exhibit also features bespoke art installations developed exclusively for the exhibition by renowned multimedia artist Pauline Loctin. As well as engaging photo opportunities for visitors to commemorate their experience.

Through an in-depth audio guide, Anwar Hussein and his sons Samir and Zak share their first-hand accounts of the stories behind the world-famous moments taken with each snap.

Accredited by the Royal Family, the Husseins make up the longest-standing family of Official Royal Photographer. They have collectively spent over four decades working side-by-side with the iconic Princess and her family.

Anwar is notable for changing perceptions of the Royal Family through his work with a focus on casual photographs instead of more formal portraits. Samir and Zak, now multi-award-winning photographers, have followed in their father’s footsteps in royal photography by capturing the lives of Prince William and Prince Harry.

Named one of the “Top 12 Immersive Experiences Around the World You Need to Visit” by CNN, the exhibit is now coming to Australia. Since launching in 2021, it has become a fan-favourite event with a 4.9 out of 5-star guest rating.
