Ponant Yacht Cruises and Expeditions is mixing the rhythms and percussion of Latin America and the Caribbean into its 2016/2017 program line-up. There are now over nine cruises that will visit 15 countries on the east and west coast with 22 ports-of-call listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites and eight as pre-Columbian era locations. Departing October 2016–April 2017 onboard the luxurious vessels, Le Boréal and Le Soléal, passengers will sail Cape Horn, Beagle Channel and the Panama Canal before venturing into the whisper-quiet waters of Chilean fjords with an expedition team of naturalists. A guest lecturer will also talk about the ancient civilisations and mystical channels teaming with endemic wildlife. Adding to the unique cruising experiences are the onboard luxuries with each custom-designed vessel hosting a maximum capacity of 264 guests.
