This US summer, Disney California Adventure Park has more to offer than ever with its newly opened attraction, Pixar Pier.
The Pier has opened midway through the Pixar Fest that is currently running through to early September, celebrating friendship with fireworks, music, favourite characters and more.
Pixar Pier features four fanciful new neighbourhoods that showcase the best and most exciting aspects of the Pixar world. The Pier is bedecked in twinkling lights reminiscent of the Pleasure Piers of yesteryear but with an exciting 21st Century twist.
Incredibles Park is one neighbourhood that effortlessly conveys guests to the world of the Parr family with reference to the iconic 2004 film, The Incredibles, and its newly released sequel. Introducing the fastest attraction at Disneyland resort to date, the Incredicoaster takes riders on a thrilling quest to chase after the cheeky baby Jack-Jack.
Toy Story Boardwalk is another highlight of the promenade, with an abundance of exciting 4D carnival games and the popular Toy Story Mania! attraction.
Pixar Promenade will offer guests sweeping views of the seaside promenade with the picturesque and colourful Pixar Pal-A-Round, with a selection of game booths giving guests the chance to win themselves a special souvenir. Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff is also set to open later in the summer, and will sell a selection of delectable treats, including saltwater taffy and rainbow cotton candy.
Lamplight Lounge is another special feature of the Pier that brings California casual gastro-pub cuisine to hungry visitors. The provision of exclusive cocktails and playfully presented dishes ensures that guests will enjoy the full Disney and Pixar experience, with stunning views complementing the fun and delicious food.
