Pinot Palooza set for biggest Pinot party yet

Carriage-Works-Sydney

Wine lovers rejoice – Australia’s largest annual Pinot Noir and music festival, Pinot Palooza, is back for its fifth year!

After stand-out events in Adelaide, Perth and, for the first time, Auckland, Pinot Palooza will return to Sydney on 9 October, before hitting Melbourne and Brisbane with its biggest and best tour yet.

Celebrating the popular Pinot Noir grape, the festival will feature the best in Pinot Noir from more than 100 of Australia’s and New Zealand’s most renowned wine producers, bringing it all together with amazing food from some of Australia’s best chefs, and great live music.

Since its conception in 2012, Pinot Palooza has featured over 200 wineries, and seven producers have participated in every single event; Curly Flat (Macedon), Dalrymple (Tasmania), Greywacke (Marlborough), Josef Chromy (Tasmania), Moondarra (Gippsland), Mount Difficulty (Central Otago) and Yabby Lake (Mornington Peninsula).

This year, they will be joined by renowned Australian and New Zealand wineries; Ata Rangi, Stefano Lubiana, Shaw + Smith, Maude, Kooyong Est, Chatto, Charteris, Giant Steps, Craggy Range and Pegasus Bay, to name just a few.

Other highlights include the upgraded and expanded Burg Bar where you can try some of the world’s best wines from Pinot’s homeland Burgundy at cost price, excellent food offerings from the likes of Bodega, Belles Hot Chicken, Yarra Valley Dairy, Gerard’s Bistro, Burn City Smokers, Meat Smith and much more.

Festival goers can upgrade to the full VIP experience with limited tickets which allow attendees exclusive pre-event access from 11am-1pm, a food voucher, specially selected Burg Bar tasting, and time with the cities best sommeliers, who will personally curate your experience by listening to your individual preferences, and then recommend up to six wineries that you should explore.
