The Glass Room offers travellers a maximalist haven overlooking Sydney Harbour for a city hotel stay.
Pier One Sydney Harbour has launched their new unique bookable staycation experience in collaboration with Alyce Tran – The Glass Room & Suite.
The Glass Room is a pop-up on one of Pier One’s luxury Balcony Suites – an extension of the luxurious space into a maximalist-inspired interior where guests can enjoy iconic Sydney Harbour views, a warming dip in a cedar hot tub, complete with cocktails and snacks. It offers a romantic and private setting and a unique way to stay in Sydney’s Harbour.

A unique winter staycation
Pier One Sydney Harbour and Alyce Tran have re-imagined winter escape offering a unique bookable staycation experience in Sydney until 1 October.
The Glass Room is an extension of the luxurious hotel, turning it into a maximalist-inspired interior where guests can enjoy iconic Sydney Harbour views, a warming dip in a cedar hot tub, complete with cocktails and snacks. Positioned high on an expansive balcony of the Pier One hotel, with interiors styled by In The Roundhouse founder Alyce Tran. The design concept has been curated to be a bright and inviting private space utilising the balcony with its panoramic harbour views whilst offering an exclusive private dining space as an extension of the suite, merging indoor and outdoor spaces.

Room with a Sydney Harbour view
With the private cedar hot tub on the balcony, guests can enjoy a romantic dip overlooking Sydney Harbour, making this a prime location to watch the Sydney sunset. Equipped with a floating tray, guests can enjoy their food and drinks from the tub, making it the ultimate relaxation spot. Plush robes await at the ready for when guests are ready to exit the tub and rug up together in their private hotel space.
Without leaving the comfort of your pop-up oasis, guests can dine in the self-contained glass room from a food menu including items such as Sydney Rock Oysters, dips like Duck Liver and Cognac Pate, Grazing Boards with Artisan cured meats and cheeses, breaded brie with kumquat chutney, and lemon pepper calamari with black garlic dip. Drinks include signature cocktails such as a Champagne Margarita, Pineapple Daquiri and Limoncello Spritz with a variety of wine, beer and soft drinks also available.

The Glass Room is furnished with modern and expressive furniture in pink and red hues, with plush décor, warm throws, bespoke vases and tableware to match. The carefully curated space has been designed to create a maximalist haven to brighten any winter mood and offer a unique hotel booking staycation with onsite parking and complimentary breakfast the following morning.
