Ovolo Hotels, the award-winning hotel group has raised the curtain on the Ovolo Inchcolm in Brisbane. After acquiring the New Inchcolm Hotel last year, the group has reimagined the property, with stylist Anna Roberts creating a concept called ‘The Cabinet of Curiousity’, which was inspired by the property’s rich architectural heritage.
Guests will find an unusual mix of books, objects and artefacts paying homage to the building’s history, while uniquely themed interiors tell their own stories throughout the hotel. The property offers a range of rooms, from medium-sized to the Thomson Suite, with all guests enjoying Ovolo freebies such as free WiFi, laundry, breakfast, happy hour and mini-bar.
For dinner, there’s no need to leave the building with the Salon de Co offering delectable dishes by chef Anthony Hales in a charming Georgian Art Deco space. Ovolo Inchcolm is the group’s sixth property in Australia, with more to come.
