Ord Valley Muster Festival line-up is announced

The comedy line-up is announced at Boab Metals Ord Valley Muster Festival, along with a new Art, Culture & Cuisine and an epic music event not to miss.

A curated program of special events kicks off East Kimberley’s tourism season, from big concerts to bucket-list black-tie dinners, station luncheons, comedy, Indigenous culture and arts, and family-friendly festivities.

Join one of Australia’s hottest comedians and most likeable rogues, the Irish comic Jimeoin. He’s bringing his new stand-up show ‘The Craic’ to the Mortgage Choice Kimberley Comedy in the Park on Wednesday 22 May as part of the Boab Metals Ord Valley Muster Festival in Kununurra. Held from 17 to 25 May, the comedy show has become a much-loved highlight of the iconic Kimberley annual event.

A night of guaranteed side-splitting laughter awaits as Jimeoin is joined by Daniel Connell, Ting Lim and Sian Choyce. Known for his witty observational comedy, making the everyday mundane absolutely hilarious, Jimeoin has been described as a ‘comic masterpiece’ by the Daily Mail.

A regular at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Jimeoin has toured internationally to great acclaim. From New York to New Zealand, Aspen to Amsterdam, and the Middle East to the Far East. He has performed around Europe and the UK and is a regular invitee to the Mecca of comedy, Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival.

Classic Aussie comedy at the Ord Valley Muster Festival

Daniel Connell is the classic Aussie comedian; affable, loveable and hilarious. His observational, dry, often unanticipated comedy has seen him take to stages all over Australia, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Scotland. Daniel has made several television appearances, performing three times at the MICF Oxfam Gala, Comedy Up Late (2018), and Opening Night Comedy Allstars Supershow (2022).

Singaporean-born Ting Lim is a stand-up comedian, writer and actor of Chinese heritage based in Australia. Her cynicism and dry, witty observations have endeared her to audiences, and she has competed in the prestigious Melbourne International RAW comedy competition. Ting has toured several sold-out comedy shows across Australia, Singapore and New York.

Sian Choyce began her comedy career in Perth nearly 15 years ago and has performed across Australia, the UK, and the United States. She can soon add Kununurra to the list. Tickets to the 18+ Comdey in the Park are on sale now.
