Imagine doing an ocean swim in pristine subtropical waters over 90 species of coral and 500 species of fish every day for a week. Imagine sharing the experience with 15 ocean swimmers and Australia’s most famous Ironman, Trevor Hendy!
Former World and Australian Ironman Champion, Trevor Hendy was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 1996 for his services to surf lifesaving, and was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 2000.
Trevor has also won medals at the World Championships in kayaking and won the Uncle Toby’s Super Series four times. Now Trevor works as a high performance coach for elite athletes and guides people from all walks of life. During the Ocean Swim Weeks at Pinetrees Lodge on Lord Howe Island, Trevor provides tips on technique, training and motivation and shares experiences and insights from the world of elite sport.
When you’re not swimming, there’s plenty of time to enjoy the other activities that Lord Howe has to offer – surfing, golf, kayaking, fishing, snorkelling, diving, walking and more. In the evening, you can relax with a sunset drink on the Pinetrees waterfront deck and enjoy a 4 course dinner with a lovely glass of wine.
Ocean Swim Weeks at Pinetrees Lord Howe Island are the perfect combination of exercise, relaxation and indulgence.
