Ocean Soul Retreat in Seminyak is offering the ultimate wellness journey, combining two disciplines, free-diving and yoga, into a once-in-a-lifetime affordable experience.
From 8 – 14 June, in the world-renowned Komodo National Park, Ocean Soul Retreat’s guests will receive professional training in free-diving breath techniques whilst practising mindfulness and yoga with the most passionate and skilled instructors in Indonesia.
Freediving, as the ultimate journey of self-discovery, teaches self-awareness, and learning to free dive is about feeling comfortable outside the comfort zone.
To ensure everybody feels safe, the programme’s instructor to student ratio will be one to four, and all participants will need to achieve the requirements of AIDA certification.
Each day will start with pranayama and asanas to warm the body and to stretch the lungs before the first dive. The morning sessions will focus on breath work and mind control to ensure guests have successful dives and a positive experience in the water.
In the afternoon, the programme offers a yoga class with a gentle flow focusing on some counterposes to release the body and to ease further into a deep state of relaxation before enjoying a nutrient-packed, whole food menu for lunch prepared by the in-house chef.
A 30-metre traditional, Indonesian Phinisi boat that combines the luxury of a traditional sailing boat with the comfort of a modern yacht, will provide the accommodation for ten guests in five cabins that are fully air-conditioned, all with ensuite bathroom.
Komodo National Park features some of the best dive sites in the world with its breathtaking vistas, coral reefs, warm pristine waters and rich marine life.
