Featuring an exciting program of 70 events across four days, Noosa Food & Wine Festival 2017 will take place from 18 to 21 May across two festival villages—Noosa Main Beach and The Woods.
“Visitors will be spoilt for choice with this year’s jam-packed festival program, showcasing the breadth and depth of Australia’s best chefs, winemakers, and producers, in what will be a mixture of fun, relaxation and pure enjoyment, as well as good food and wine in the iconic destination of Noosa,” Noosa Food & Wine Festival director Maria Crews says.
In addition to Noosa’s top restaurants enjoying local collaborations as they host a 45 visiting chefs from the country’s best restaurants and a handful of signature events, more than 50 wineries and 100 food producers will take part in this year’s festival, ensuring there will be something to suit every taste and budget.
Located on Noosa Main Beach, the Beach Tipis will play host to the opening and closing cocktail parties as well as a plethora of other events, including early morning yoga, brunch and lunch in the tipis, and a pop-up Stokehouse on the Beach with the teams from both Melbourne and Brisbane whipping up a culinary dining experience under the stars.
Visitors can also dine on food from all of the restaurants at the famous Hastings Street Long Lunch, with matching wines.
Other highlights include Sound of White presents The French Saloon—an evening of fine dining on the beach, with a lively and fun ambience, where Ian Curley and his team create a pop-up of their one-hat restaurant in Melbourne, French Saloon. The dinner will be matched with wines from the Sound of White Vineyard in Marlborough, New Zealand.
