Award-winning Russian photographer Elena Krizhevskaya took this shot, Nikolskaya Street, of one of her favourite streets in Moscow. Elena says: “Nikolskaya Street is one of the oldest streets in Moscow and is one of the most beautiful. It has many historical houses, a monastery and a couple of churches.
Nikolskaya Street is the closest to Red Square and therefore is very popular with Moscovites and also with tourists. Last year before Christmas Nikolskaya Street was decorated so beautifully and magically that I fell in love with it all over again. It had just rained and the street turned into a mirror, making it twice as beautiful.” @elenakrizhevskaya
