MIMARU Tokyo Pokémon Room
MIMARU offers apartment-style hotels with kitchens in 15 locations in Tokyo’s favourite tourist spots. The Pokémon Room is one of their most popular room types, bursting with adorable little Pokémon designs. With a giant stuffed Snorlax on the bed and Poké Ball tableware, this unique space is irresistible for Pokémon fans. But note, it’s best to book ahead as there are only five Pokémon rooms for each hotel in MIMARU Tokyo Ueno East, MIMARU Tokyo Ginza East, and MIMARU Tokyo Hatchobori.

Stay SAKURA Tokyo Asakusa Yokozuna Hotel
Inspired by the ancient Japanese martial art of sumo wrestling, Stay SAKURA has been renovated into a hotel where sumo wrestling culture can be felt everywhere. Including room plates bearing the names of past grand champions, known as yokozuna. You’ll find a wide range of accommodation: from twin rooms to suites. With some rooms are stocked with official goods from the Japan Sumo Association. A convenient location for sightseeing in Tokyo, just a five-minute walk from Asakusa Station. All rooms have a kitchen and laundry facilities, perfect for long-term stays.

ONSEN RYOKAN YUEN SHINJUKU
Sink into the warmth of the natural hot springs amid the atmosphere of a ryokan, ONSEN RYOKAN YUEN SHINJUKU is a traditional Japanese inn in Tokyo’s heart, just a 20-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station or a seven-minute walk from Shinjuku-gyoemmae Subway Station. The experience of staying in a traditional inn is unique to Japan, fusing classic Japanese and modern sensibilities. The open-air bath on the top floor is only available to hotel guests, where you can drink in the sweeping view of Shinjuku skyscrapers while soaking in hot spring waters brought from the source in Hakone. A wide variety of rooms includes doubles, twins, suites, and universal rooms that are wheelchair accessible.

Auberge TOKITO
Opened in April 2023, this Japanese auberge (dining-focused inn) inherits part of a famous restaurant’s historic estate and garden on the outskirts of Tachikawa, about 30 km from Shinjuku in Toyko’s west. Enjoy quality time relaxing in one of Auberge TOKITO hotel’s four guest rooms with open-air baths flowing from a natural hot spring. Yet the hotel’s soul is the dining room, where Michelin-starred chefs create new styles of Japanese cuisine. Taking you on a dining experience that conveys the depth and richness of Japan’s food culture.

Shubou-Tamajiman
The Shubou-Tamajiman guesthouse offers hands-on experiences on the grounds of the Ishikawa Brewery, which has operated since 1863. The idyllic scenery of lush greenery in Fussa is unique to western Tokyo’s Tama area providing a stunning backdrop to this idyllic setting. Amid the warm wood interior of the hotel are 28 capsule bedrooms divided into men’s and women’s sections, with three additional Japanese-style rooms. Plus, a restaurant serving dishes made with local ingredients and sake from Ishikawa Brewery. Beyond the rooms, take a sake brewery tour or a tasting workshop on making fresh toner from salted rice malt.
