AccorHotels has been appointed by Oxley Group to open and manage its first lifestyle hotel with branded residence in Asia, the So Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Hotel, and the So Sofitel Residences.
Due to open in 2020, the lifestyle hotel and residences will boast one of the best locations in the Malaysian capital, based right in the centre of the KLCC area, within a short walk of the famous Petronas Towers and the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
Reflecting the So Sofitel’s bold, playful and fashionable lifestyle brand attracting a younger, affluent traveller, the hotel will feature four inspired food and beverage outlets, an extensive pool with deck and terrace, So Fit gym, So Spa, signature Club Lounge, business centre and several function and event spaces.
Meanwhile, the Residences will feature a lounge, extensive gym with studio and yoga room, an adults’ pool, separate kids’ pool, games room, kids playground, a function room and sky gardens allowing residents to welcome their own guests around a barbecue while enjoying views over the Kuala Lumpur skyline. A la carte services will also be available, including housekeeping, room service, laundry services and concierge services provided by the So Sofitel Hotel.
This latest venture from Accor Hotels will join an exclusive collection of boutique luxury hotels including the Sofitel So Singapore, Sofitel So Bangkok, Sofitel So Mauritius and recently opened So Sofitel Hua Hin in Thailand.
