Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta has announced five new outlets and entertainment venues, bringing foodies, gourmands, and those who enjoy the finer things in life, a variety of opportunities for indulgence and enjoyment. While each new outlet is completely unique, they all encompass Four Seasons’ signature style and service, with original décor by Alexandra Champalimaud and contemporary wining and dining presented by the culinary team helmed by Italian Executive Chef, Marco Riva.
From cocktail bars and fine dining, to bakeries and cafes, here is a breakdown of the newest additions to Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta.
PALM COURT
Serving contemporary dishes melding flavours from the East and the West; inspired by flavours and ingredients from Indonesia and beyond, Palm Court is the perfect place to start the day, grab lunch with business associates, relax over sumptuous afternoon tea, or “come home” to a comforting meal after a long workday. Enjoy your meal in the light-filled, rotunda dining room beneath the 13-metre soaring dome from where the custom-made Lasvit chandelier captivates.
NAUTILUS BAR
The stunning art mural, depicting Jakarta’s old Sunda Kelapa trading port, anchors the bar where expert Four Seasons bartenders handcraft Nautilus’ tantalizing libations; signature cocktails specially conceived using the country’s most famous exports – nutmeg, galangal, clove and lemongrass and exceptional, artisanal single-malt whiskies from all corners of the globe. With its masculine yet dramatic décor, Nautilus Bar is the perfect setting to toast in style – from the cosy, hidden-away booths built with richly accented millwork panelling, to the more social plush club chairs offering the perfect setting for the most discerning of gatherings.
LA PATISSERIE
The city’s most craved indulgences can now be found at La Patisserie, where the precious, dainty confections can be browsed in the glamorous boutique setting. The most coveted creations include signature specialty cakes, imaginative individual pastries and chocolate art; all presented in an elegant, robin’s egg blue salon that would have made Marie Antoinette herself feel at home. A place to meet and chat, have tea, coffee and a sweet indulgence, whilst shopping for a beautifully gift wrapped present for a friend.
DOLCETTO
The luxury lifestyle of Four Seasons is proudly represented on-the-go by Dolcetto, the Hotel’s grab-and-go destination located in between the Hotel and the Capital Place office tower. Guests in a hurry or businesspeople from Capital Place can grab a fresh coffee or juice on their way to the office or out to see the sights of Jakarta. Dolcetto is perfect for a decadent pastry or a quick lunch offering. Fantastic convenience with the signature Four Seasons touch.
ENTERTAINING IN STYLE
At the top of the Lobby grand staircase are “His” and “Hers” salons. These spaces speak to the graceful historical culture of Jakarta and Indonesia, where women and men’s differing habits and preferences are honoured. On one side, the men have a ‘withdrawing room’ to meet, discuss business with a drink and cigar and feel at ease. Meanwhile, the “Her” salon, located opposite, is a place for women to comfortably enjoy more traditionally female pursuits. The flexible spaces form a yin to each other’s yang and are sensitively designed to encapsulate the charm and grace of Indonesian culture.
ALTO RESTAURANT AND BAR
Coming in late 2016, on the Hotel’s top floor, the Hotel’s signature Italian restaurant will serve authentic culinary creations by Chef Marco Riva. Guests can look forward to dining in a sensuous space, with an exotic feel, rich, layered textures, enveloping deep tones of red and soft ochres complemented with polished woods. Alto Restaurant and Bar is sure to dazzle diners with the energetic pulse of the surrounding city as they enjoy panoramic views from the restaurant’s 20th floor terrace.
