This beach is one of the most photographed in all of Greece.
Navagio, also known as Shipwreck Cove, is on the island of Zákynthos, which is part of the Ionian islands. The beach is accessible only by boat, with regular services running from the towns of Porto Vromi Maries or Volimes, or from the city of Zákynthos.
Apart from the beauty of the turquoise water surrounded by the sheer white sandstone cliffs, one of the attractions is the wreck of the ship Panayiotis bedding down into the sand after being washed ashore in 1980.
There are also sea caves to be discovered.
