All-new floating Mumm Harbour Bar opens on Sydney Harbour

Have something to celebrate? Or perhaps you’re just looking for something exciting to do in Sydney. Either way, the all-new Mumm Harbour Bar on Sydney Harbour is the next must-try experience.

World-renowned luxury French champagne brand G.H. Mumm will be taking over Captain Cook Cruises this summer to deliver the ultimate floating bar experience.

From 12 February, Captain Cook Cruises will be serving G.H. Mumm paired with a seafood platter of fresh prawns, oysters, smoked salmon blinis and calamari, served high tea style.

It’s hyped to be the ultimate French champagne and foodie experience for when you want to enjoy drinks with friends, celebrations or an afternoon date.

“We want Sydneysiders to enjoy the best harbour in the world with a free-flowing Mumm experience like they’ve never seen before,” Mumm Brand Ambassador Emmanuel de Madre said.

When, where and how much:

The new Mumm Harbour Bar will be located on the recently refurbished Sydney 2000’s lounge-style Ocean Deck.

The experience will kick off from 3pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Departures will take place from Darling Harbour, King Street Wharf No.1 and return at 4:30pm.

On board, guests will be seated in an exclusive Mumm lounge suite and receive 1.5 hours of bottomless Mumm Grand Cordon Champagne (which is traditionally a cellar door only cuvée Champagne and only served in Sydney’s top restaurants and bars).

The Champagne will, of course, be accompanied by the delectable seafood platter we mentioned earlier and 360-degree Sydney Harbour views.

And to celebrate the launch of Mumm Harbour Bar, you can enjoy all this for just $89 per person on select nights (normally $99pp).

If 1.5 hours is not long enough, you’re also welcome to stay on board for additional Harbour circuits while purchasing drinks and food from the bar or restaurant.
