Lizzie’s Lane is the newest pop-up bar to open in Melbourne’s Albert Park. The pop-up is set in the revamped back alley of Pullman’s Albert Park hotel and embodies a very British theme. The laid-back garden setting is complete with Astroturf (in which games of croquet are encouraged), deck chairs and festoon lights. Adorning the wall is a pop-art mural completed by Sheldon Headspeath as a tribute to the cultural blend of Melbourne and East London. After four days of tireless designing, painting and perfecting the artwork was complete.
Whilst Lizzie’s Lane offers boutique beer and wine options, cocktails are the name of their game. Their cocktail menu is extensive, and guests can order a wild variety from the traditional Lizzie’s Pimm’s Jug, to the Hogwarts Express Martini, the London Mule and the Eurostar.
Patrons can book out Lizzie’s Lane exclusively and the venue can host up to 130 guests.

Once you’ve had a few cocktails you’ll need something to munch on. Groups can share a variety of different platter options. These include warm roast beef rolls, prawn cocktail rolls, Wagyu cheeseburgers, English cheddar and more. The primo platter is the ploughman’s platter and is chocked full of quintessential English cuisine. Otherwise, guests can enjoy assortments of nibbles.
Lizzie’ Lane will be open Wednesday through Sunday until March 2019.
