Latin America’s largest airline, LATAM, has just announced it will be operating three non-stop flights per week from Santiago, Chile to Sydney by the end of 2019.
LATAM currently operates a daily flight to Sydney from Santiago via Auckland, New Zealand. The airline has been operating a direct service between Santiago and Melbourne since 2017.
Santiago is one of the airline’s main hubs, and offers easy onward connections to other popular destinations throughout Latin America.
“This non-stop Santiago to Sydney flight will further improve the connectivity we offer between South America and Australia. In recent years we have expanded our services significantly and today we offer unrivalled choice for passengers on both sides of the Pacific,” said Roberto Alvo, Chief Commercial Officer of LATAM Airlines Group.
More details to come, including the start date, itinerary and ticket availability.
