Kombi vans and surfing go together like peas and carrots and now there are tours by Kombi on Queensland’s Gold Coast. Visitors can soak up the experience of cruising the Gold Coast’s World Surfing Reserve in a fully-restored 1969 Kombi bus with seating for up to seven passengers and music that suits the cruisy surfing vibe.
As part of the tour, you will also visit Surf World museum – an opportunity to discover the evolution of the surfing industry and surf culture on the Gold Coast.
Tours depart daily from Surfers Paradise and travel south hugging the coast’s famous breaks including Duranbah, Burleigh Heads, Currumbin Alley, Snapper Rocks and Kirra. Along the way, watch surfing footage and hear some fun facts about this part of the world.
