Kitchen by Mike takes off at Sydney Airport

Say goodbye to boring old plane food – Sydney chef Mike McEnearney’s award-winning popular canteen-style eatery Kitchen by Mike has opened at the newly transformed T1 International City View precinct at Sydney Airport.

Offering simple, honest and delicious food made from locally sourced ingredients, the Kitchen by Mike all-day menu will change daily in order to sustain its seasonal focus of using the best home-grown products available at the time.

The menu will feature options such as granola, poached pear and natural yoghurt for breakfast, and signature dishes like za’ataar roasted chicken with spiced red onions and harissa, pomegranate molasses and spiced yoghurt. A range of local boutique wines will also be available, including Mike’s house by Mike white, from Lowe Wines in Mudgee.

For travellers in a rush to catch that flight, Kitchen by Mike provides a quick pit spot with clever carry-on bento boxes available for takeaway, from mid-April. The Fly by Mike tray-packs are packed fresh and you can choose from a range of fresh and wholesome options such as classic salads, roast veggies, light meat and fish dishes, seasonal fruit, homemade desserts, and a selection of tonics and cold pressed juices, to fuel you for the journey ahead.

Kitchen By Mike is now open at Sydney Airport T1 International, Pier B between Gates 10-24, and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, from 6am until 10pm.
