What do KFC and the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt have in common? A view, apparently
Kimmie Conner took to TikTok to reveal “the most ridiculous place you’ll ever have KFC.”
The KFC sits just a few streets back from the entrance of The Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. Go inside and up a few levels of stairs to a hidden rooftop that offers sprawling views of the world wonder.
Take it all in while you enjoy some finger-licking good chicken.

The amazing travel hack
Miss Conner showed her viewers a Pizza Hut and KFC directly across from the Great Pyramids of Giza.
“Would you actually believe they have a view from the top. So if you go in and order some s**t food, walk all the way up to the top. That‘s right, keep going past, here is the view from the roof of the KFC,” she explained in the now-viral video.
“Sure there are other rooftops around but this is completely empty and you can have it all to yourself. Just you and your Zinger,” she added.

The hilarious KFC hack is much more affordable than other tourist options in Giza, Egypt.
“Honestly just buying one burger is a lot cheaper than getting to some of the other views, or paying taxis or camels,” explained Miss Conner.
The TikTokker backed her claim by filming the striking view from the KFC rooftop while she took a bite out of her burger.
“How unreal is that. It’s actually one of the most central and closest restaurants in Giza. Save the expensive restaurants for later for sunset. And also save some fries for walking around for the rest of the day. You’re welcome.”

The internet reacts
The viral video has been now been viewed 1.7 million times, so we expect this KFC rooftop will be a little more crowded from now on.
Many viewers were disappointed that the fast-food outlet tainted the important historical site with one commenting: “It’s awful that a KFC is in front of a World Heritage Site and not a local food chain.”
Miss Conner took it in her stride and backed her travel hack.
“There are local restaurants here too but they’re pretty expensive. We went to one for sunset but we just came here for a cheap meal and a laugh,” she replied.
