JW Marriott has announced the opening of its new five-star luxury beachfront resort, JW Marriott Los Cabos Beach Resort & Spa, located on the Baja peninsula in the upscale Puerto Los Cabos community.
The resort features 299 guestrooms and suites with unobstructed ocean views, an open-air lobby, nine sea water and infinity pools, seven restaurants and bars, Jasha Spa with a modern-day Mexican sweat lodge, or temazcal, banquet and meeting facilities and retail shops. Guests can also enjoy access to Puerto Los Cabos’ private marina and golf courses.
The resort’s signature restaurant, Café des Artistes, offers a fine dining experience in Mexican cuisine with French influences, by renowned Chef Thierry Blouet. As well as both indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant also features a specially curated wine cellar, a chef’s table and P’yote Rooftop Bar which offers an extensive list of Mezcal cocktails.
Designed by Jim Olson from Olson Kundig, the architecture has been designed to frame the nature surrounding the property and has taken inspiration from local Mexican traditions and spirit of the desert, seamlessly blending architecture, art and nature for a modern yet traditional feel.
For those wanting to take the high life up a notch, the highly exclusive Griffin Club, a 45-room boutique hotel, is also situated within the resort and boasts its own private beach and pool, butler and chef services, private spa areas, a movie theatre, and other exclusive benefits.
