InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa has been named Fiji’s best luxury accommodation at the ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards Gala Ceremony.
Held on Saturday, 17th February 2018, the awards celebrate those who have made “exceptional contributions” to tourism in Fiji during 2017.
“We are extremely proud and honoured to have won the Accommodation Luxury category. This is due to our resort team’s dedication to providing excellence and top quality personalised service alongside our beautiful location on Natadola Bay, one of the best beaches in the world”, said Mr. Andrew Davidson, Area General Manager South Pacific at the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa.
“We also have to acknowledge and thank the many tourism stakeholders who help us deliver the best experience for our guests; and of course the unwavering support of our owners – the Fiji National Provident Fund,” he continues.
“There are many excellent resorts in Fiji and to add this award to others we have received confirms our belief in our product, our partners and in our people who are providing the best luxury resort experience in Fiji,” adds Mr. Davidson.
The ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards are recognised as a mark of excellence in Fiji; judged by industry peers and held annually to recognise individuals and organisations that have developed national tourism in Fiji.
This is the eighth Fiji Excellence in Tourism Award earned by InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa since it opened in 2009, including recognition for the resort’s spa, restaurants, frontline staff and corporate incentives program.
