Hotel Chadstone located in The Fashion Capital is the latest five-star sanctuary to come out of Accor’s MGallery by Sofitel collection, renowned for their luxurious style and character.
In the lead up to its official opening on Friday 1 November, the 12-storey hotel — worth $130 million — has provided visitors with a sneak peek of its design and features. This includes 250 rooms and suites, two penthouses, rooftop bar and dining, as well as a wellness retreat and day spa complete with LED lounge and yoga studio.
‘Hotel Chadstone will offer visitors and guests luxurious and exceptional experiences from the finest cuisine to our world-class spa and wellness retreat, to elegantly designed rooms, spacious suites or penthouses which offer the ultimate rooftop escape,’ says Chadstone director Fiona Mackenzie.
Hoping to capitalise on the suburb’s proven international and domestic appeal, the new hotel is positioned next to the world-class shopping, dining, lifestyle and entertainment hub of Chadstone, located just 17km from Melbourne’s CBD.
‘Chadstone is synonymous with design, luxury and fashion and whether you are staying with us for business or play, Hotel Chadstone Melbourne is the ultimate destination to enjoy a shop, stay, dine and play experience at The Fashion Capital,’ Fiona adds.
It’s all in the detail
Inside, the rooms are high-class, featuring touches of blush pink and teal paired with furniture inspired by luxury European fashion houses and complete with leather detailing, custom lighting and individually crafted bespoke seating.
On the rooftop, guests will enjoy the pool complete with lounge chairs and private cabanas perfect for taking in panoramic views of Melbourne’s skyline. Altus rooftop bar — recognisable by its statement, seven-tier wine glass chandelier — is another sophisticated space for indulgence. Here you’ll find an outdoor conservatory bar with an open skylight and terrazzo bar with views of Port Phillip Bay.
Guests can also look forward to dining in renowned chef and restaurateur Scott Pickett’s latest restaurant, Pastore, an Italian-inspired all-day dining venue with a focus on wood-fire cooking and handmade pasta.
‘This address will set a new benchmark for luxury accommodation outside Melbourne’s CBD,’ claims general manager Neil Scanlan.
Once open, Hotel Chadstone Melbourne will become the 11th MGallery hotel in Australia, and join other iconic addresses including Hotel Lindrum Melbourne, Harbour Rocks Hotel in Sydney, as well as others in Paris, Amsterdam, Bangkok and Vietnam.
While the hotel doesn’t officially open until November, guests who book before 31 October may be eligible to win their exclusive pre-opening offer. The offer is priced from $275 per room per night and includes accommodation plus a $50 Chadstone Gift Card presented on check-in to use during your stay.
