Britain plans to open an I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here theme-park in Manchester in late 2021.
The indoor adventure park will feature an exciting mix of tasks and trials based around the Main Camp, Croc Creek and Snake Rock.
Guests will compete in an I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here theme park jungle challenge.
Just like the real thing
To be crowned king or queen of the 90 minute course, they will need to navigate a series of demanding obstacles and challenges, collecting stars, just like on the show.
Think jungle zip-lines, a tree top ropes course and vertical climbing walls.
They will also get the chance to will face their fears.
According to ITV’s Director of Games, William van Rest, a staff member from the I’m a Celebrity Games team is working on the theme park design. So you can expect the challenges to be fairly close to the reality TV show format.
Thankfully, the theme park is not an exact replica. So no live animals or bug eating.
Winners will have the opportunity to take a snap on either Winners Bridge or the Jungle Challenge Throne inside the I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here theme park.
I’m a Celebrity Theme Park Rules
All camp-mates who enter the Jungle Challenge will need a ticket. And no, unfortunately there won’t be any celeb appearances.
Children aged between 8 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult. The theme park will have height and weight restrictions due to the physical nature of the course.
This theme park is not for the faint hearted. But if you’ve ever watched I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here and thought ‘I could do that!’, you’ll love it.
