Crystalbrook Collection will offer complimentary room upgrades to fully vaccinated guests who stay before 20 December 2021.
The sustainably-led hospitality group joins the likes of Qantas, Virgin Australia and Uber by implementing a vaccine incentive strategy.
Vaccinated guests can claim their upgrade at any one of Crystalbook Collection’s luxury resorts. The hotel chain confirmed to Signature Media, that families travelling with unvaccinated children will still be able to claim the upgrade. Children under 16 can’t currently access COVID-19 vaccinations in Australia.

The resorts offering upgrades
Crystalbrook has three luxury hotels in Cairns: Crystalbrook Riley, Crystalbrook Bailey and Crystalbrook Flynn.
In Newcastle, the offer is valid at Crystalbrook Kingsley.
You can also claim your vaccination upgrade at Crystalbrook Byron in Byron Bay, Crystalbrook Albion in Sydney and Crystalbrook Vincent in Brisbane.

Travel revival
Crystalbrook Collection CEO, Geoff York said he hoped the travel industry would rebound quickly after two years of interrupted holidays.
“The effects of ongoing lockdowns have been devastating to hotels, restaurants and bars and to the people that work within these industries,” York said.
“Vaccination is the key to saving our industry.”
“Offering an upgrade to guests who have vaccinated themselves against COVID-19 is a small gesture of thanks so that we can revive travel and hospitality.”

How to claim your vaccination upgrade
To activate the offer, guests must use the code VAXED at the time of booking.
Guests must show their Australian Government Covid-19 certificate on arrival.
To access that, you will need to go to your Mygov account, enter the Medicare site and find your vaccination records.
